“I’ve been to the Restaurant Depot in Mount Vernon and Yonkers multiple times, and honestly, it’s one of the worst experiences I’ve had since starting my business. The customer service is consistently poor—staff is often rude, mistakes on the bill happen frequently, and there’s never an apology. The wait times in line are excessive, and there’s just no sense of urgency. I really hope they take this feedback seriously because, frankly, it’s a stressful experience every time I go. I just wish there were a better option nearby, but for now, it’s been really disappointing.

I’ve been to the one in Florida the one in Queens the one in Hunt point Mount Vernon is my favorite because of the salmon the clams anchovies Barnett, the chicken in the box the beef, the pork chops, large lettuce the service is excellent, but when I get there and get my fish I am so happy one time they had a catfish, fabulous red snapper white lump crab meat I come in for the fish and I’m very grateful the one in New Jersey. They do not have a fresh fish. It’s frozen no no no no no no no no The black horse helped them. Please send them fresh fish.

Arrived with a delivery. Expected a warehouse — instead, found myself on the set of a disaster movie. I’ve been waiting here for over two hours, and honestly, the only thing moving faster than the staff is the mold growing on the walls. In that time, I’ve had the pleasure of: • Admiring the wet, slippery floor, perfect for Olympic-level slipping and falling. • Observing trash in every possible form and state of decay — boxes, plastic wrap, mystery liquids oozing from pallets… maybe it’s their new signature sauce? • Soaking in the atmosphere — a fine blend of humidity, chaos, and logistical despair. • And best of all: being treated like an illusion. The staff must be training in advanced Zen meditation — calmly ignoring drivers as if we don’t exist. I took a photo — not for clout, but as proof that hell on Earth exists, and it’s called the “loading area at Restaurant Depot.” If you’re a driver and want to test your patience, balance, and resistance to unsanitary horror — this is your place. Everyone else? Buy a lottery ticket instead. Your odds of a good experience are way higher.

Restaurant Depot offers great solutions to Restaurant & other busineas owners. Everything is under one roof and bulk quantities make it more cost effective as well as safer. Inventories of fresh produce are checked for safely and some of them are approved by regulatory authorities. Restaurant Depot needs to step up their game and offer deliveries to the clients. Most of the staff is friendly but you'd also friend rude & arrogant employees once in a while. Employees complain about over work and provide lots of inconvenience with fork lifts in middle of peak shopping hours.
